Complete guide
PNG is a strong format for screenshots, design exports, diagrams and images that include sharp edges. Converting PNG files to PDF is useful when those images need to be sent as a single document rather than as loose attachments.
Unlike JPG, PNG can contain transparent areas. LiftPDF places transparent PNG images on a white PDF page, which is the most predictable result for printing, sharing and document portals.
Auto page size with no margin keeps the PDF close to the source image. A4 or Letter is better when the result needs to behave like a formal document. Fit keeps the whole PNG visible, while Fill covers the page and may crop the image.
If your PNG is a screenshot with important edges, use Fit and a small margin only when you need visible whitespace. If it is a full-page scan, no margin is usually the cleanest choice.
Because conversion happens in the browser, PNG files do not need to be uploaded before the PDF is created. This is especially useful for screenshots that may include private account details, addresses or work information.
